I remember a time, many years ago, when we would be powder skiing up at Heavenly by Thanksgiving. Powder in the morning, turkey in the afternoon. By the looks of it this year its going to be a football and turkey day, which isn't bad either.
What is bad, is the town is pretty mellow which means the housing market stays mellow to say the least. South Lake Tahoe inventory of active homes for sale is down to 427, its better than the 600+ homes for sale last month. 39 homes are in escrow now and 40 homes sold last month.

These are my picks for this weeks best deals in each price range ($100k) increments. All the properties are located in South Lake Tahoe. I'll have North Lake Tahoe next week. After 1.2 million I just picked the house i would want if i had a million dollars, well maybe a couple of million.
